BizTalk Server 2010 released for manufacturing!!!
The seventh major release of BizTalk Server has now been released to manufacturing and will be available for purchase starting October 1st.
I’m particularly interested in checking out how BizTalk integrates with the new Windows Server AppFabric (code name Dublin) and WorkFlow 4.0 to build Agile Composite Applications.

Thanks for the tip Scott. I know what a Composite Application, but what is meant by an Agile Composite Application? Is that BizTalk Jargon? Couldn’t find it in Google.

Correct, it’s more of a Microsoft BizTalk/AppFabric term than it is an industry as a whole term. Really what it means is that with Microsoft’s new Windows Server AppFabric you can now easily host WF and BizTalk orchestrations as services. So now you can create enterprise wide processes as services that you can quickly create new Composite apps with to make your business more agile to response to market changes, competition, etc…
